WWII Italian M41 Tank Destroyer

article and photos by Russ Lockwood

Looks like a M41, although not entirely certain.

Using the chassis of the M14/41 tank, the 90mm gun was an AA gun pressed into an anti-tank role. Although introduced in 1941, only 48 were ever produced. Used in North Africa with some success, once confiscated by the Germans in Italy, it was used primarily in artillery role.

Crew 2, 90mm gun, Speed 22mph, Range: 124 miles
