Richard Brzezinski for Osprey Osprey's reputation in the old days may not have been all that it could be but the Campaign series is well worth purchasing for reading as well as looking. This is an excellent account of the battle with none of the silly Military Revolution nonsense that usually befouls accounts of Gustavus. The reason for the battle is clear, as are the difficulties suffered by the attacking side. The account is based on a lot of reading and knowledge. Good maps and Orders of Battle, without doubt the best book on the topic.
