15mm Franco-Prussian Figures

by Pat Condray

This comprehensive line appeared in a grand tactical event at Historicon 90. Figures designed by Chris Atkin. Most troop types are offered, including three kinds of Prussian hussars (death's head, guard, and ordinary -- the guard as well, I think as one or two other regiments, had a pelisse).

Officers and musicians are not much in evidence, in keeping with the grand tactical nature of the game. Thus far a large (probably rebored Napoleon 12 pdr) and small (4 pdr LaHitte) French field gun are offered as well as the mitrailleuse, but only one Prussian. There should eventually be 2 - a 4 pdr that threw a 9 pd shot, and a 6 pdr that threw a 15 pd shot. The design, animation, and detail are comparable with the best on the market. Three horses are offered, with figures 25 cents, horses 35 cents. You can accommiclate both beligerants without any other source, but I would judge the figures to be compatible with existing Franco-Prussian 15mm types.
