Dave Chandler has edited another great reference work for the Historical Miniature Gamer (of course others would like it, too). Published by McMillen at $35.95 it has been made available by The History Book of the Month Club for $23.50! Each of the Marshals is given his own chapter written by a different historian. It is interesting to note that including the editor, over 20% of the authors contribute to The Courier, including Jim Arnold, our Napoleonic Editor, who has the chapter on Victor! Each chapter has a short biography, and describes a battle that has particular significance for the Marshal in question, complete with battle maps and battle description. A very well done study of the fables and foibles of the Marshals of France. Recommended. More Reviews
