Front Line Figurines is a new firm producing an extensive range of 25mm Jacobite Rebellion and American Civil War figuers. These new figures are absolutely great. They are a large 25mm size and super detailed to the same degree as the well known Essex and Wargames Foundry ranges. The Jacobites seem that they are modelled after the recent articles appearing in Military Modelling. There are ten wonderfully animated and shabilly dressed Highlanders, a mounted officer and six moustached Irish/French regulars. The British consist of 12 regular Foot and Black Watch, 7 cavalry and 4 artillerymen. The two mounted personalities, Prince Charlie and Cumberland are superb. The Cumberland figure (fat jowls and all) is one of the best miniatures I've ever seen. The infantry fit perfectly with the other large 25mm ranges, but the cavalry are really huge and should be examined first. I can highly recommend this wonderful range and hope that they produce even more 18th Century types. Infantry and riders generally cost 28 pence while horses are 40 pence each. There's also a 3 pounder gun available for 0.40. Figures available from Front Rank Figurines, 11 Southbourne Gardens, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex SSO OAG, England. More Reviews
