    In June, MagWeb.com has posted: 25 issues, 14 news items, and 11 book reviews, and 2 new advertisers. For the six months January-June, 2000, MagWeb.com has posted: 148 issues, 61 news items, 30 book reviews, 2 sample book chapters, 5 travel articles, and 11 other articles. For those keeping count, that averages out to 20.3 cents per issue for our one-year members.

    As we head into our FIFTH YEAR (starting July 1), we'd like to thank all our 2,500+ members for supporting us from our first fledgling steps to today's bulging archive of almost 18,000 articles! And we hope you'll continue to support MagWeb.com as we increase the quantity and quality of information and develop several related projects for the 3rd/4th qtr. At E2000, Tibor's Photos

    The Holiday Inn in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is the site of E2000, which celebates the Europa series of games. MagWeb.com's CEO Russ Lockwood and VP Technology Tibor Vari will be attending, manning a booth, and maybe pushing a counter or two around. We'll also be visiting GHQ, the Microarmor manufacturer, on our swing through Minneapolis.

    Speaking of Tibor, he's also been busy as a shutterbug the last few years taking a wide variety of nature photos. He's gotten quite good at it, too. See his revamped website at the Mall at Magweb.

MagWeb.com Hits the Road to Chicago and West Point

    CEO Russ Lockwood heads to Chicago to: tape an appearance on a cable TV show (The Tecora Rogers Show), visit with Hal Thinglum (editor and publisher of MWAN), and man a booth at the Little Wars convention (April 14-16 Mariott Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire, IL, corner of state highway 22 and 21, north of Chicago O'Hare airport).

    VP technology Tibor Vari from MagWeb.com will be manning a booth at West Point (Eisenhower Hall) on Saturday April 14 for the PointCon convention. It's got the best convention facilities--huge, spacious ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the Hudson river, artillery park within 5 minutes walk, West Point Museum within 20 minutes walk, and Prof. Waddell usually gives a West Point history talk and walk.
