We received the following press release--RL After nearly nine years as Editor of Games Quarterly Catalog, since GQC #2, Doug Sundseth is leaving the industry. GQC Publisher Mark Simmons stated "Doug has been an excellent editor, professional in every way. I'll miss him as Editor, but he's a good friend so I'll be able to stay in touch with him, his wife Cheryl and their son Alexander. Doug was offered a high-paying job for Ericsson Communications. With a newborn son he couldn't refuse such an offer, and I could do nothing but cheer him on." Doug is already training his replacement, Richard Martin-Leep, a two-year employee of Mark Simmons' other company, DiaboliCo. Stated Mark, "Richard has the background and talent for this demanding job. It won't be easy filling Doug's shoes -- Doug rarely made even a typo in processing some 4,000 to 5,000 changes every quarter. In the unlikely event that GQC wins an Origins Award this year I'll have to share it with Doug." Games Quarterly Catalog is the international standard reference for the Games Industry, listing about 38,000 products with one gigabyte of pictures and descriptions. Doug's last day with GQC is June 20. He can be contacted at dsundseth@aol.com. For further information contact: Mark Simmons
