We received the following press release--RL There's been a few updates and changes within Gauntlet Publications U.S. over the past couple months - all for the better. I've attached the listing of the latest products below, as well as my web page link. All of the updates are on my web site, with pictures of the book covers. The books are readily available and life returns to Moscow! As the weather improves daily, I am back up to full speed in the militaria department. You'll see on the web page that I have added some militaria items and I will continue to carry these. However, since it is illegal to export militaria from WWII and earlier, I will not be able to get any older/historical items. All items will be newer (from the 1960's to present day). You'll note the addition of quite a few Naval publications - these are superb looks at one of the great, historical Navies and the additional WWII books also add quite a number of new pictures of tanks in action. I especially like the new Frontline Illustrated: Trophy Tanks showing a Soviet Army Panther (captured) Company! R40. Russian soldiers are in nearly every picture so you get a really good idea as to their uniforms in WWI (very good variety and detail). A very nice limited edition publication. Limited Quantities - $30. R58. Russian Dog Tags - These are the Russian version of America's dog tags, however, in typical Russian fashion, they are about three times as thick as the U.S. versions (but same shape, length & width). They are sorted by service and I have in stock the ones for the Russian Armed Forces (Army), Russian Navy, and the Spetsnaz. On the back of each tag is room to have your first, middle, and last name engraved. Russians wear their blood type as part of their uniform and of course, religious preference is never considered? Each tag is $3, but they can only be purchased in conjunction with something else. R59. Russian Uniform Ties - These ties have the service emblem embroidered in full color in the middle of the tie and at the bottom, they have "??????" (Russia). Very nice work and they also have the "cheater" band - a strap and clip that fits under your collar so you don't have to tie these. I have the Russian Navy and Russian Army in Stock. The ties are both black with full color embroidery. Great gift idea for anyone who has to wear a tie to work (these are not gaudy). $8. R60.
