Election Day
Thought you might like to know which president served in the military before becoming the Commander-In-Chief.
Vote
Being bombarded with political campaign adverts (positive and negative) day and night is no fun, but I hope you can stand one more. VOTE. Considering the number of people who have overthrown tyranny and despotism, not to mention those that still yearn to, we as citizens of the United States should vote...no...must vote to keep our democratic society functioning.
Too busy? How busy would you rather be in a gulag? Or a re-education camp? Or in a restricted social or economic system? Vote.
Too jaded? At least consider the impact at the local level...your town. Every vote does count at this level. And if you don't like who's on the ballot, write someone in. Vote.
Too lazy? An entire generation was energetic enough to mobilize against a trio of dictators. You probably know some who served. Vote.
And to those who do vote, you don't need me to tell you "well done!" You already know it yourself.
Finally, CEO Russ Lockwood was on the syndicated BizSoup radio show (see bizsoup.com) talking about presidents who served in the military.
