What a great find! Q Records, an offshoot of QVC shopping channel, is marketing the soundtrack to the Victory at Sea series in conjunction with The History Channel. It features 12 of the scores from the 1950's NBC TV documentary, arranged by Robert Russell Bennett and performed by the RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra. The 62 minutes of music is absolutely marvelous. The quality of the recording is wonderful. I enjoyed listening to this over and over again. If you know the series, you have to get the CD. If you don't, what a wonderful introduction to a brilliant composition. In short, it'll put some Navy blood in you even if you're a landlubber. Track List 1. Victory At Sea (6:09) 2.
