The four samples received for review are quite nice. They average 25mm tall from the soles of their feet to their eyeballs and heft in a bit on the heavy side of medium. Detail is what I expect from Wargames Foundry - good! Equipment is cleanly and completely cast, and leaves little to the imagination. It may not be clear in the photo above, but the German Grenadier has a Model 1916 helmet with reinforcing plate. the Frenchman's M1 915 helmet features a nicely cast grenade device on its front. The ammo pouches on the Englishman's chest are actually attached to a vest worn over the tunic - again, well detailed. If you're a 25mm WW I gamer, give these a look! Even if you're not, consider the possibilities for that odd skirmish game... These figures sell for a bit over a dollar each. They're available from Pendragon Miniatures, 1549 Marview Drive, Westlake, OH 44145. Write them for a catalog! More Reviews
