"Scenarios For Napoleonic Gaming With Any Rules System". Battles for Empire Publication's latest offering is the product of the work of Rick Vossman, Buck Surdu and Bill Harting. From the impressive cover and professional layout you can tell that a lot of work went into this set of scenarios. The booklet is 8.5"x11" format, softbound and forty-eight pages long. It includes maps, illustrations and orders of battle. There are thirteen historical scenarios and maps to go with each. Most of the scenarios are of a workable size and other than Quatre Bras and Auerstadt, most of them have not been presented before as scenarios. These scenarios are well presented and include victory conditions, a brief explanation and analysis. The eight page color map insert is excellent. For those of you with Napoleonic figures lying around collecting dust, here is something to get you to get those figures out and gaming. Battles for Empire Publications also produces an excellent set of set of Napoleonics rules, Battles for Empire. This scenario guide and the rules, not needed to use the scenario guide, can be purchased from most war game suppliers or direct from Battles for Empire Publications, 3700 Buena Vista Rd., #85, Columbus, Ga. 31906. The guide costs $17.95. This is a worthwhile purchase. More Reviews
