By G.F. Nafziger and illustrated by M. Gilbert, this work is a continuation of a series on the German states in the Napoleonic Wars. It is soft covered with 79 pages plus tables, illustrations and bibliography. Nafziger does an acceptable job describing the complicated creation of the principalities and their travails during the length of the Napoleonic Wars. The work makes use of many German sources and is a real addition to the knowledge of the English-Speaking body of Napoleonic enthusiasts. He includes details on organization and uniforms for all the forces fielded by these important principalities. I can recommend this series to the historian and the gamer. This book is available from G.F.Nafziger, 8801 Tammy Dr., West Chester, Oh., 45069 for $12.95 plus $1.00 shipping. More Reviews
