This is a new line of 25mm scale figures to the United States market. The Peninsular Range is "intended to cover all the forces engaged in the long and bloody struggle in the Iberian peninsula during the Napoleonic wars." Based on the catalog received with the figures they come pretty close. The catalog is well illustrated with detailed line drawings that come very close to the figures in appearance. We received P124, British rifleman, PT11 Portuguese Cacadore, and PF151 Voltiguer Sgt. These figures are slightly on the stocky side and measure 27-28mm for a Barrett Measure of 28H. They are well cast and cleanly molded. The legs are a wee bit short, but that really does not detract from the general excellence of the figures. They appear accurate in detail and have nice facial features. The Baker Rifle on the British rifleman is nicely done. The Redoubt line is available from Steven Philips, 4761 Bear Canyon, Tucson, AZ 85749. Foot figures and riders cost $1.00 each and horses are $1.25 each. Steve's catalog is well worth a gander but I have no price for it. Those of you interested in Skirmish Napoleonics or the Peninsular War need to look at this line. More Reviews
