The sculpting is quite harsh, providing for good stain painting, though equipment wise the lads must carry their percussion caps in their pockets as not one has a visible cap box. There is not a great deal of animation here either. I miss that, but many other hobbyists prefer the more dignified and sedate look these figures project. The horses in the range are quite good with size that takes them out of the "big doggy" look of some ranges. Riders and indeed foot officers have really long right arms but that is a bit picky. Infantry and other foot are $.50, cavalry is $.60 and horses $.65. The horse will be provided in a random mix of running poses , a nice touch. Minimum shipping charge is $4.00, the manufacturer pays shipping on orders over $40 and gives a whopping 25% discount on orders of over $50. That makes these really very inexpensive figures. They are worth a look. Available from Adventure Books And Games, 249 East Pine, Central Point, OR or call (503) 664-3898. More Reviews
