15mm 19th Century

by Pat Condray

These are the figures previously identified, I beleive, with RSM, but now being produced seperately by Chris Atkin, 140 Indiana Ave. Dayton OH 45410. The figures are nominally 15mm but measure 18mm. Current coverage is fairly thorough for the army of Prussia and the North German Confederation (1870- 71). The former category being appropriate for Prussia in 1866 (more or less), France for the same war, and Austria for 1866 and by extension for 1859. Infantry and Grenadiers are offered for Piedmont -Sardinai. The figures cost $.25 for personnel (infantry, cavaly or gunners) with horses an extra $.40 and guns for $1.25. Accessory packs for artillery equipment and cast flags are $.25. The figures are moderately animated, anatomically correct, with appropriate equipment and adequate detail. Painted figures are available from $2.25 up. This line is being expanded steadily and provides a good economical way to build 15mm wargame armies for the mid-19th century.
