Falcon Miniatures has released a line of "Western Barbarians" which includes Gauls, Gaelic British, and Germans. This line consists of 15 foot figures, 2 cavalry, a chariot, and a foot command group. Some of the figures are of a specific type (such as German light infantry), while others are generic. The figures remind me of the "Minifig" style, only larger. The horses are very well done. Cost is 6 foot or 3 mounted for 4 dollars, and 7 dollars for the chariot. The figures are also sold in army packs for 99 dollars, a 125 dollar value. The figures may be ordered from Falcon Miniatures, 1 High Street, Suite 102, Medford, Massachusetts 02155. Falcon equates to an American 'cottage industry', and I hope they are successful. Other lines from Falcon include Marion Romans, Early Imperial Romans, Knights and Peasants. I look forward to their next offering, Saracens. More Reviewing Stand
