A new set of figures has been produced by Standard Games. This company publishes the Medieval man-to-man game of "Cry Havoc" and its companion games that have become so popular among the beer and pretzel crowd. These figures have been made to replace the cardboard counters that come with the game. This reviewer received two knights, the horses they could be mounted on, a billman, and a peasant. The size of the figures is close to that of Essex. The horses are well proportioned and in fact could be used to mount other companies' figures. The humans are adequately sculpted though nothing special. The casting is good with a minimum of "flash"; though one figure appeared to have been cast at too high a temperature, giving it a tin-like appearance. As far as value for the money goes, the figures are individually packaged. This is an expensive proposition and undoubtedly figures into the price. More Reviewing Stand
