Cover (at top): Another battle in the rise of of The African Warlord. The Sudanese Bazingers are from Australia’s Castaway Arts and painted by their designer Gerry. The Senegalese Tirailleurs are from Reviresco, painted by Ian Croxall. Some their French officers are from Foundry’s explorer range. Foundry also make the Sudanese warriors with the central Sudanic arched topped shield. The French NCO’s (in blue) are from Old Glory’s French Marines form the Boxer Rebellion range - the 8cm mountain gun is from the Spanish American War Old Glory range. The rest of the native warriors come from a mixture of Foundry African musketmen and Dixon’s Dahomey musketmen range - all painted by Ian Croxall. Photo by Bill Keyser.
