25mm Prohibition Wars

Figures

Reviewed by Dick Bryant

A new line of 25mm figures depicting the most infamous gangsters and toughest cops of the 20's. The first release has 21 figures. 25mm model buildings, roads, cars and accessories are planned. The figures measure 25M BM and are nicely detailed and clean. Another great line to expand the hobby into periods little traveled in the past. The price is 70p per figure + postage. I suggest you write for a catalog as they have a beautiful line of 25mm, 15mm and 1/300 buildings as well. These figures are available from Steve Barber Models, 1 Avon Place, Hawksdale, Aylesbury, Bucks. HP21 9LR, England

More Courier Reviews

The Courier uses the Tobey Barrett Measurements System (BM) to simplify the comparison of figure sizes one to another. Briefly the number is the height in Millimeters from the bottom of the figure's foot (top of the base) to it's eye. The letter refers to the "heft" of the figure: L = Light; M = Medium;; and H = Heavy. H will fit well with other H and somewhat with M but not at all with L even in the same scale. thus a 27 M is a larger 25mm figure of Medium Heft.
