This is a sample figure from a not-yet (at the time of writing) released Spanish Civil War line of figures. Measuring about 27M Barrett (shoes to eyes), this fellow is advancing at a trot with a separate right arm holding his rifle by the grip. Wearing web gear with ammo pouches and canteen, detail is well defined, the head, wearing a side cap, being especially nice. If I were to pick nits, the calves of the legs are a bit bulbous and the pose is off; he's got his left foot forward and his left arm forward along the leg. While running, one's arm does get into this position, but it's awkward-looking. The right hand is somewhat large, which is accentuated a bit by the rifle being a bit thin. The proof of the figure is in how it takes paint. The detail style carries the figure, resulting in a very nice finished product. This range should prove interesting, combining, as it does, the potential for a wild variety of uniforms and equipment, nice detail, and a large enough scale to really do the uniforms justice. Briefly the number is the height in Millimeters from the bottom of the figure's foot (top of the base) to it's eye. The letter refers to the "heft" of the figure: L = Light; M = Medium;; and H = Heavy. H will fit well with other H and somewhat with M but not at all with L even in the same scale. thus a 27 M is a larger 25mm figure of Medium Heft.
