This is an innovative expansion on the adventure stories that have seen print in several magazines. You move through the adventure by being directed to different pages depending on the decisions you make as you go along. I found most of those I tried predictable and, eventually, boring. This is quite different! The Devil's Addition takes place in Abilene TX, and its environs in the early 1870's. You are "Red" Lewis a deputy US Marshal trying to apprehend a Johnny Cohron. Money and points add up to a score that can be compared to those of your friends or even of your other attempts to solve the adventure. Red has a gambling problem, hates "Rebs" and has a mean streak - all of which get in the way of an easy run through. Dice are used to give some random results based on your choices as well as to determine the results of your gambling. A great game - I enjoyed it immensely and there are more coming.
