This is a new company to me and I was very pleased to see the quality of the pirates they sent for review. Every bit as detailed and Guernsey Foundry they fit in very well with that line of figures. I especially enjoyed the inventiveness that Eureka brought to the poses of these figures. Some of the figures will not make good wargame figures because of it but will lend themselves to small vignettes on the tabletop. I have a weakness for such vignettes, being an avid skirmish gamer. Just look at the character in the photo with his foot on the case! There are some 16 figures in the line with more to come , 11 of the present batch are supplied empty handed so you can mount the waepon of your choice(supplied). The figures are $2 each. Highly recommended.Available from Eureka Miniatures, 10 Woorayl St. Carnegie Vic 3163 Australia.(nicr@eurkamin.com.au) More Courier Reviews

Briefly the number is the height in Millimeters from the bottom of the figure's foot (top of the base) to it's eye. The letter refers to the "heft" of the figure: L = Light; M = Medium;; and H = Heavy. H will fit well with other H and somewhat with M but not at all with L even in the same scale. thus a 27 M is a larger 25mm figure of Medium Heft.
