Old Dominion Game Works

Mein Panzer Campaign Pack #1
The Korean War

Review by Bill Rutherford

ODGW’s Korean War campaign pack is a remarkable little bundle of information. This spiral-bound (you know - the plastic type) 29-page supplement is packed with information, starting off with a six-page mini-history and timeline. This is followed by two pages of new rules for Mein Panzer that deal mainly with “modern” weaponry (helicopters, rockets, napalm, etc.…). There are five pages of equipment tables that include pretty much everything used by anybody participating in that conflict, as well as a bibliography. Next are a pair of scenarios (both from 1950 - lots of NKPA troops on the offensive!) that include the usual - setting, special rules, setup instructions, OBs, maps, victory conditions, and historical outcomes.

The book winds up with 12 pages of TO&E/organizational data for all of the forces involved, up to a division in size. I’ve not been able to check every OB or equipment statistic but what I’ve seen looks good. Remarkably, this supplement sells for only $5.95… *No*thing sells for that price anymore! Available from your local game shop or, failing that, directly from Old Dominion Game Works, at PO Box 1456, Winchester, VA 22604-7956.
