These slightly small figures 14L Barrett Scale fit in with the older Thistle and the Rose as well as Division After Division figures. These peasants (DAP 27) are armed with a spear and small wooden shield and are advancing warily to the front. They have good facial detail, with
some flash on the figures. The spear and shield are cast on, a plus for me.
It is nice to see a line of villagers and peasants being put out and this company has a list of 20 packs of them! Also an extensive line of Rus, Normans, Saxons, Vikings and Samurai. Prices are $4.29 per pack of ten. Available from Brookhurst Hobbies, Brookhurst St., Garden
Grove, CA 92640. - TERRY L. GORE.
* The Courier uses the Tobey Barrett Measurement [BM] System to simplify comparison of figure sizes. The number is the height in millimeters from the bottom of the figure's foot (top of base) to its eyes. The letter refers to the "heft" of the figure: L=light, M=medium, and H=heavy. Thus, Hs will fit in with other Hs and some Ms, but not Ls.
