11. Hall of Consistency

The north wall of this uncomfortablgy dim hallway is a huge brass plaque. The plaque is three feet tall and over fifteen feet long. In huge, clearly carved letters it reads, "Consistency." It is too dark to see very far ahead, but you can tell that the passage slopes significantly downward.

GameMaster

Looking at the map of this hallway, you will notice a 10' by 10' square marked with an "X." This marks a pressure plate in the floor. When a character steps on the plate, a panel in the ceiling, at the top of the slope, will slide silently open and drop a huge stone roller clamorously into the hallway.

The roller fills the entire passageway and weighs several tons. As it slowly begins to roll down toward the characters it should elicit a mad stampede toward area 12.
