Scotia Models

1/300 Modern

review by Bill Rutherford

SIMTAC continues to build their reputation of producing the most esoteric range of 1/300th models around. They produce a full range of WWI AFVs, Polish WWII AFVs, Japanese WWII AFVs (and softskins!), French WWII equipment, modern engineer equipment, and even Science Fiction AFVs - all of this in addition to a respectable range of 'normal' WWII and modern equipment! As can be seen from the photos, detailing is good. The T64 w/reactive armor paints up well and comes with separate cupola machinegun. The BTM is the only one on the market and captures the 'construction equipment' look of the original ,quite well. The G6155mm SP looks silly, but so does the actual vehicle! All in all, a well selected range, well modelled, and at $3 per pack of 5, very well priced!
