Available through Enola Games, P.O. Box 1900, Brooklyn, NY 11201, $3.50 per pack of 20 cav, 50 inf, or 6 guns. ROS has an interesting outlook on miniatures production. As the molds of their figures wearout, they resculpt the figures in question from scratch before making new molds. As a result, the same subjects may be rereleased several times over a period of years, each time brought up to the current state of the art of sculpting, The result is continually improved quality in the line. That's certainly the case with their newest series of releases, a few samples of which are shown above. It's impossible to say which are their best releases, so consistent is their quality. Virtually any troop type one could want is avaiable from ROS in some form or other. The only distinctive troop type missingfrom the WWII era that I can think of would be Japanese, and I've found that their Italian troops will serve quite nicely as such, if painted appropriately. Still the best deal on the market if you're looking for troops!
