25mm Indian Mutiny

Wargames Foundry has released an extensive line of Indian Mutiny figures in 25mm of the "larger" variety. Most of the foot figures come in multiple poses with outstanding details. The range includes cavalry and artillery as well as a fabulous elephant drawn siege gun set. You can even your order your elephant with short or long tusks. Their most recent offerings, received for review, include six figures of British infantry in shell jackets and wicker helmets. The facial detail on each of the six figures appears to be identical so that one could have different poses for the same individual representing different actions, such as firing, loading, or advancing depending on the chosen activity duringa turn.

This would certainly be of great assistance in a skirmish game. The entire range, and these figures in particular, are highly recommended for those interested in the Indian Mutiny. The figures are available from Pendragon Miniatures at $1.10 per mounted or foot figure and $1.30 per horse. Pendragon offers volume discounts and free postage on larger orders. Their service is rapid and they maintain a large stock of figures.
