It is always nice to see a new enterprise enter the military miniatures figure market. Imperialist Enterprises headed up by Robert Hagerty has just opened up a new range of early war or pre-empire, 1794-1806 figures called their "Demi-brigadier" line. These are larger 25mm figures measuring 29M on the Barrett scale. They are nicely cast and cleanly molded. The detail is very good, especially the drummer boy, NF8A, who is wearing oversize uniform parts. Planned new editions of the figures will be in trousers and some in helmets. Imperialist Enterprises also plans an Austrian line of the same period to be followed by Bavarians, Russians, Italians, French Leve en Mass and perhaps Emigre all of the pre-empire era. Figures will cost $1.25-1.50 each and can be purchased individually. For a sample of 10 of the figures and a free catalog send $10.00 to Robert Hagerty, 229 N. 2nd St. #C, Elkhart, In. 46516-3024 or call for information at 219-293-4398. More Reviews
