Viking Forge's latest effort is an A-26 invader. As with other aircraft in this line, detail is a bit heavy, but it paints well and looks quite good on the tabletop. The plane is clearly an early A-26B, as it carries the gun pods distinctive to this mark and also features the early style canopy. Gamers wanting a late model Invader need simply file off the pods and build up the canopy area just a bit with putty. The Squadron/Signal book, A-26 Invader in Action #134 has lots of good photos and drawings to help with this. The plane's a bit oversize - about 1/240th scale in length and just a bit large in wingspan, and it's a bit squat in cross section. As Viking Forge's model is the only one I'm aware of in this scale, and as most gamers are somewhat forgiving regarding exact scale representation, I expect this A-26 will find a place in many gamer's late WWII and Korean War aircraft stables. The Viking Forge A-26 Invader is available for $3.50 at your local game store. - BILL RUTHERFORD More Reviews

The number is the height in millimeters from the bottom of the figure's foot (top of base) to its eyes. The letter refers to the "heft" of the figure: L=light, M=medium, and H=heavy. Thus, Hs will fit in with other Hs and some Ms, but not Ls.
