Chariot Miniatures

10mm American Civil War

Pharaoh's Arms ( PO Box 32, Munster Hamlet, Ontario Canada KOA 3P0) sent several 10mm ACW figures for review. They measure 9 L on the Barrett Scale. One cavalry figure was cast with the horse and rider separated another with the rider cast in one piece with the horse. I am not sure how they differentiate these in the catalog. The figures are of reasonably good detail for this size and are well proportioned.

The line contains 14 foot, 7 mounted, two dismounted cavalrymen, 2 mtd. generals and the necessary artillery men, guns and limbers. Man and horse casualties and a wrecked gun are also available. Packs containing 12 infantry, 6 cavalry 0r 3 guns are $3.15 ea. in CANADIAN DOLLARS.

* The Courier uses the Tobey Barrett Measurement [BM] System to simplify comparison of figure sizes. The number is the height in millimeters from the bottom of the figure's foot (top of base) to its eyes. The letter refers to the "heft" of the figure: L=light, M=medium, and H=heavy. Thus, Hs will fit in with other Hs and some Ms, but not Ls.
