A 25mm French standard bearer was received (#95004). A nicely sculpted pewter piece measuring 27mm (M). The knight is swinging his sword overhead and holding the Orriflame standard he would look great in a diorama of Poitiers as he strides purposely toward the English lines. He is very close in looks to the Constable of France in Osprey's ARMIES AT AGINCOURT book, but with camail under his dog-faced bascinet and in full plate armor. Great animation and no flash. Hopefully, the company will send more figures from this line for review. Foot figures are $1.35 each or 8/pack (3-4 poses) for $8.75, cavalry $2.75 or 2/pack for $5.00. Also sent was a box of 15mm billmen (#15F05). Three variations of billmen/dismounted knights in full armor were included. Wearing the hundsgugel, or dog-faced bascinet, each figure has a surcoat over plate and legs and arms are fully armored. Half the figures carry a halberd, the rest a pike. Standing exactly 15M Barrett Measure all the figures are in a forward stride, reminiscent of the figure in ARMIES AND ENEMIES OF THE MIDDLE AGES pg. 107, #35. These figures are perfect for 14th and early 15th century 100 Years War armies and will fit in well with TTG and Essex. Packs of 24 foot (although the one I received had 22) for $6.75, packs of 12 mounted for $8.75. Available from SSG, 40 Jarvis St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905. - TERRY GORE More Reviews

The number is the height in millimeters from the bottom of the figure's foot (top of base) to its eyes. The letter refers to the "heft" of the figure: L=light, M=medium, and H=heavy. Thus, Hs will fit in with other Hs and some Ms, but not Ls.
