Paul Willing for Musée de L'Armée This volume covers the Mexican Expedition and the Franco-German war. The format is a brief series of top notes and then a page of photos, maps and illustrations of the men, leaders and weapons of the period. Although most are in black and white a significant number are not and this is a very impressive package (cost about £23). I look forward to Volume One (which should include the 1859 campaign).
