20mm German 1939 Dismounted Tankers

Reviewed by Bill Rutherford

This set of five figures (number AFV7) consists of five dismounted German tankers in two-piece tank uniforms and early berets. Detailing is good, but is a bit softer than I've come to expect from FAA. One fellow is reading a map - he has goggles on his beret that squish it convincingly. Another, posed with his hands held behind his back, looks as if he's being reviewed. I was a bit disappointed in the two holding weapons. One's pistol is quite oversize - unusual for FAA, and the other's MP38 is quite oversize as well. Still, their poses are convincing, their proportions good, and they'll go well with one's early war Panzers. Recommended, but look at the weapons first... They sell for $5.40 and are available from your FLGS or Brookfield Hobbies
