This series of articles are intended to inform the researcher or reader about the contributions of little known or overlooked military units. In some cases about events that have been mostly overlooked during the study of the era. The data presentation will be concise with hope of encouraging further research by the reader. In most cases, I will comment on the force’s country of origin, uniforms and other facts about the conflict. Some sources are cited with the section on that unit. A general source is “The World War One Source Book” by Phillip Haythornthwaite. In summary, I hope to provide the gamer/painter with additional and unique units to add to their collection.
