Canadian New Foundland Regiment

How poor we Americans are about knowing Canadian History. Until 1949, New Foundland was an Independent member of the British Commonwealth. It was not a member of Canada until 1949. In World War One New Foundland contributed a regiment to the British cause. It fought at Gallipoli and in France. They wore a uniform similar to the British and Canadians.
