11 Feb Navarino-Pylos. Ibrahim makes an unexpected winter landing in Morea. Immediate siege of Navarino and Pylos begins.

15 Mar. Greek relief force (7000 Suilots, Rumeliots, Bulgarian Wallach cavalry) engages Egyptians (3000 inf + 400 cavalry + 4 guns) and are repulsed. The value of drilled troops is well illustrated here and in later battles in which the Egyptians win easily in the open field.

7 Apr, Kremmydi. Egyptians (7000) surround Greek force (3300) and inflict a seroius defeat.

19 April. Kremmydi. Egyptians asault and overrun Greeks in prepared position in a hilly pass.

15 Apr or 7 May, Missolonghi. Ottomans (20,000) under Reshid launch and intitial storm on the towns defenses ( 4000) which fails then establishes a long siege.

26 Apr or 8 May, Sphakteria. Greek defenders (400 men + 8-10 guns) assaulted by Egyptians ( Arab Rgt + Greek Moreot volunteers) with naval support. The town falls.

20 May Manika. Egyptians (Arab Rgt + Greek Moreot vol) overwelm Greek defenders (1000)

23 May, Off Andros. Greek fleet engages Turkish convoy escort.

31 May, Suda Bay. The Greek fleet under Miaoules defeats a Turkish convoy escort.

?? May Lerna. Greek defenders (250) assaulted by Egyptians ( Arab Rgt + Greek Moreot volunteers) The town falls

7 June, Trampala pass, Egyptians (25,000 ?high / other souces cite 7000) force the pass which is well defended by 3000 entrenched Greeks.

13 June, Myloi. Greek defenders (500) hold off Egyptian assault (5000)

2 July. Thrre rival Greek warlords combine to surround and defeat an Egyptian (500) probe.

17 July, Salona. An entrenched Greek force (1500) around a monastery repel a Turk-Albanian (7000) assault.

21 or 28 July Missolonghi. Ottomans (20,000) under Reshid storms the city ( 4000) but fail.

3 August Aegean Sea. Greek Brig flotillas attack Ottoman fleets trying to reinforce various units.

9 Aug, Kissamos, Crete. Greeks (2400) invade Crete and establish a foothold after defeating the Turkish garrison (2000).

21 Sept Aegean Sea. Greek Brig flotillas attack Ottoman fleets trying to reinforce various units

13 Oct Aegean Sea. Greek Brig flotillas attack Ottoman fleets trying to reinforce various units

1 Nov, Laspes. Turkish supply train including money was captured..

10 Nov, Elis. Egyptians after heavy fighting capture thge town's monastery (200 defenders

18 Nov Off Zygos. Greek Brig flotillas defeated Ottoman fleet.
