My goodness, what next? From England, cast in PEWTER, comes another new line of 15mm Napoleonic figures. Released by a new company in England named Battle Honors, Tom Devoe (of EE&L fame) isserving as U.S. agent. British and French Peninsula, Prussian and Russian 1812, and assorted Portuguese and Spanish (including Guerillas!) are now available. They range from standard figures and positions to some less common types such as 'Deuxieme Port Aigle'. The pewter gives the unpainted figure a marvelous chess set like look. The figures themselves are well sculpted with prominent detail and nice facial expressions. The 'enthusiastic Frenchman' holds his covered shako at arms length, the cover actually has folds and ridges, while his head is turned with open mouth clearly shouting in response to a ride by of some famous commander. The figures can be purchased in sets or (apparently) individually at 33 cents for infantry and 42 cents for cavalry. Write to Mr. Tom Devoe, 17 Ridge Rd., Budd Lake, NJ 07828. More Reviews
