Two more great ACW 1/600 ships from Thoroughbred Models. The USS Benton, a casemated river ironclad, and, the CSS Tuscaloosa/Huntsville class casemated ironclad. Both have the same fine detail Thoroughbred is noted for. Easy to assemble, usually just fitting the smoke stack and vents into predrilled holes, the ships come with painting tips, assembly notes, and basic ship data. The ship data provided allows you to prepare ship charts for just about any set of rules you use. The 1/600 size is perfect for games; large enough to make out the great detail (a great help with the painting) and yet small enough to get quite a few ships on the table. Check out the full line of vessels at thoroughbredmodels.simplenet.com. More Reviewing Stand
