HLBS introduces a new line of British Home Guard figures. The Courier received several Grenadier Guards figures (BAN2 and BAN3) and Dragoons Command (BCN2a). The figures are 28M on the Barrett Scale and seem well cast in a high tin content making them somewhat brittle. The right arms of all the figures are detached allowing some variation. The horse furniture is attached to the mounts. I found the poses rather parade like but these were the troops who preformed these duties. They might be passable for Crimea. The figures are available from RLBPS at 5 figures of infantry for $7.50 and the Dragoons are $10.50. Other figures in the line include Infantry in Home service helmet, Rifleman, and Fusiliers, as well as Household Cavalry. For more information on this line contact RLBPS at 4827 Treeview Terrace, Rockford Ill., 61109 or call 815-874-5351 or E-mail at mail to:rlbpsb@earthlink.net rlbpsb@earthlink.net More Reviewing Stand
