review by Jim Birdseye
These 1806 Prussians are really nice figures, measuring H27, Barrett Measure and are well animated. The Courier received a number of the figures including command. The uniforms are correct and so is the equipment, though the Musketeer Bicornes seem a bit oversized but make a good impression on the table. These American made pewter.figures were sculpted by Dave Hoyles and includes Musketeers, Grenadiers and Fusiliers with more figures being added at a rapid pace.. Grenadiers do not have a standard bearer as they did not carry colors during the period. The figures retail for $1.25 each for foot and are sold as singles. There is also a mounted officer available at $3.00. This is a throw-back to the good old days but should reduce the wasted figure or two. They can be ordered by contacting Imperialist Enterprises (Robert Hagerty) at 229 N. 2nd Street, Apt C, Elkhart, in. 46516. Or see them on the Web at www.melees.net. More Reviewing Stand
