review by Bill Rutherford
Samples received include a four-storey apartment building, two different Quonset huts, and a three-storey urban corner building. They’re quite impressive - they’re cleanly cast with no flash and almost no pitting or bubbling, and their angles are good, i.e., corners that are supposed to be 90 degrees, are... Detailing is good, with such things as electrical meters and door-latches clearly indicated. Microfigs produce a number of buildings in this scale including six different urban sets (the Quonset huts are in a single set), a pair of ruined sets, two industrial buildings (grain silo and factory), three different rural sets, and a set of earthworks. Pricing is generally $7.95 for a single set, with some of the larger buildings (e.g., the corner building) going for $14.95. These are by no means the least expensive structures you can buy in this scale but they are among the nicer ones I’ve seen… Available from your local game shop, or failing that, directly from Microfigs Inc. at 16 Morning Dew Dr., Brantford, ON, Canada N3R 3P2.
