New for the colonial gamer is a nicely done 15mm colonial fort. Made from hard resin the fort measures 8"x9" and comes in five easy to asscmble pieces. When assembled there are some 1/16" gaps along the walls but these can easily be rectified when assembling by mounting the fort to a piece of hard board and then filling the gaps in with plaster or similar product. The size of the fort is ideal for 15-20 soldiers to defend in an outpost setting. With the main block house, wall parapets and roof of the command headquarters there would be three levels that could be defended. Would make for some interesting actions! There is limited detail on the fort, the best being the entrance gate and small patches of brick work showing through the plaster wall covering. Wargamers with only limited painting ability would have no problems painting up this model which should be a fine addition to any desert scenario. $49.95 from Stone Mountain. See their advt elsewhere in this issue. More Reviews
