Stone Mountain is offering a new fine, of 6mm Alder Napoleonics. The Courier received set ADM 2900 Napoleonic Marshals. I have been toying with the idea of using 6mm or 5mm figures for some time and have always held back because of my lack painting skills. This line offers a challenge to good painters. The twenty-six mounted figures in this pack are very detailed and varied. You will have to paint Ney's red eye brows and Murat's black hair in a pose for Eylau and another as King of Naples. There is lots of lace on the uniforms evident, as well as horse furniture. The figures are well animated and detailed. The heads are a little large and the horses small but sturdy. All in all these are nice figures. We will wait to evaluate the line units. They are available from Stone Mountain Miniatures, PO BOX 594, Broomfield, Co. 80038. More Reviews
