review by Bill Rutherford
Irregular Miniatures is (I think) the newest entry into the realm of modern 15mm miniatures and their initial release is promising. Figures are 16mm tall from shoe soles to eyeballs and are of heavy - medium heft. Proportions are OK, though the troops are a bit squat. All of my samples were standing with minimal body contortion, so I'm not sure how the charging, kneeling, and other poses look. Detail is abundant but basic packs, pouches, ammo, etc., are all present, but have only minimal detailing. Weapons, however, are clearly identifiable. There were some mold scams, but minimal flash nothing unreasonable. The samples painted easily and fit well with other makers' 15mm troops they are priced at $0.25 each, something you don't see much any move with all these pre-packaged units, they are available from your local gameshop or directly from Irregular Miniatures USA, PO Box 5125, Warren Michigan 48090.
