By G. F. Nafziger, 106 pages, ills. and bib. soft bound/spiral, $12.95 from the author; 8801 Tammy Dr. West Chester, Ohio, 45069. This is an excellent study of the Spanish and Portuguese Armies based on English, Portuguese and Spanish sources. It includes detailed orders of battle, uniform information, organizations, histories, and analysis. Nafziger has made a solid contribution to the hobby and the study of history. Although the work is well written and presented the only draw back is that it is essentially run off on computer paper. This should not be a major problem for those of you who want this information. And it should allow George to come up with new editions fairly easily. I can recommend this to anyone interested in the Peninsular Wars and to the general Napoleonics player as well. Because he includes the organization dates of many of the regiments, it may also be of some interest to those gaming the 7YW. More Reviews
