During the Colonial era and early years of the American Republic, a number of conflicts occurred between rival factions along the frontier. I am not commenting on some conflicts which may or will be covered in other articles, such as settler expeditions against Native nations. I am offering some information on these actions as a method for providing scenarios for gamers. Most of the actions are suitable for 1:1 or 1:5 skirmish games but a couple could easily be expanded to a 1:10 tactical level battle. More Strange American Conflicts
