Jan 25: West Farms, New York. Loyalist raid on a Patriot outpost (in Lancey's Mill)

Feb 2-9: Fort McIntosh, Georgia (Camden County). Loyalist troops (Florida Rangers-40) from East Florida capture the fort after a series of skirmishes and a brief siege

Apr 26: Danbury Connecticut. 2000 British/ Loyalist (Prince of Wales Rgt) troops under Gov Tryon attack the town
Apr 28: Compo Hill Connecticut. Gov Tryon's Loyalist force is attacked by a 600 man Patriot force under Arnold. The Loyalist continue their return march to the sea.

May 15: Sawpit Bluff, Florida. Patriots skirmish with Creek Indians.
May 17: Thomas' Swamp, FL. Loyalist Florida Rangers(50), Creeks and British regulars under Col Prevost defeated Col Baker's Patriot force of 109 troops.

Jul 1-4: Burgoyne's Advance-Ticonderoga area. The few Loyalist (Jessups Corps of 150 men) and Iroquois (400+) under Burgoyne operated as scouts or as part of the advance guard. They would would have participated in many skirmishes with Patriot outposts and patrols. Most were attached to St Leger's column.

Aug 3 : Siege of Ft. Stanwix. St Leger's column of 1000 Iroquois under Brant + Butler's Rangers (60-90) + Royal Regiment of New York (130) + Canadian Loyalist as sappers and boatmen + British regular troops besieges 700 Patriots under Col Gansevoort.
Aug 6: Oriskany, New York. A Patriot relief column (800 men) under Herkimer is ambushed just short of Ft Stanwix by a combined Loyalist and Iroquois force. The Patriots are defeated.
Aug 16: Bennington, NY. Major battle of the Saratoga campaign. The Loyalist units of Jessups Corps (150) and Pfister's Loyalist (90) + Canadian scouts and Iroquois fought.

Sept 1 : Siege of Ft Henry Virginia (Wheeling W.Va). 400 Indians from several tribes under Simon Girty beseige the fort but retreat when a relief column arrives.
Sept 11: Brandywine. 12,500 British vs 11,000 Patriots. Ferguson's Rifles and the Queen's Rangers took part in the battle.

Oct 4: Germantown. 9,000 British vs. 11,000 Patriots. Ferguson's Rifles and the Queen's Rangers took part in the battle Oct 6: Forts Clinton and Montgomery, NY. British assault captured both forts from a (200 regular + 600 militia) Patriot garrison. (Emmerich's Jagers, and Loyal American) Loyalist forces were part of the British vanguard.
