This is the title of the superb book written by RADM GENE FLUCKEY (2169-C-1992) and the last we heard, he had given the film rights to Steven Spielberg and the Admiral is retained as a consultant. Let's hope Spielberg gets the film rolling pretty soon as 'THUNDER BELOW' is a great story and FLUCKEY is a great guy. We also hope the film does better with the Oscars than 'SAVING PRIVATE RYAN'.
